Obama now has the power to arrest American citizens on American soil without benefit of charges.  Even worse, in his own words he has the power to assassinate American citizens on American soil at his own discretion.

Do you have any idea of what this means or the consequences this poses to our freedoms?

Let me introduce you to 1933:

In January of that year Adolf Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany, a nation with a Jewish population of 566,000.  In one month’s time Hitler  had sworn in an auxiliary policy force of 40,000 men and his followers had burnt the Reichstag Building, the seat of Germany’s government,  to create an atmosphere of  crisis  allowing Hitler to seize total power under the pretext of protecting the nation from security threats.  By March Hitler had the “puppet government” pass the Enabling Act giving him dictatorial power and opened  4 concentration camps in Germany to imprison those who stood against his agenda.  

By April of 1933,  Hitler instituted  staged boycotts of Jewish shops and businesses within Germany,  issued a Decree defining a non-Aryan as “anyone descended from non-Aryan, especially those with Jewish parents or grandparents”, and the Gestapo was born,  a creation of Hermann Goring.  The Gestapo became a law unto itself.  It was entirely possible for someone to be arrested, interrogated, and sent to a concentration camp for incarceration or summary execution without any legal proceedings.   Sound Familiar?

Also significant in 1933 was the German euthanasia movement.   It was a gradual process beginning from an attitude that there was such a thing as a life not worthy to live.  While the movement began with the severely and chronically ill, it  gradually encompassed the socially unproductive, the ideologically unwanted, the racially unwanted and finally, all non-Germans.  It was also in 1933 that the Hippocratic Oath with its pledge to do no harm was replaced with the Gesundheit – an oath to the health of the Nazi state.  The first duty of all doctors under the new oath was how to promote the interests of the Reich, not the patient.  Hitler also began silent indoctrination programs in the schools where German children were taught math problems to calculate how much bread, jam and other necessities of life could be saved by killing the chronically sick and crippled who were a drain on society.

In May, the Nazi’s, under Hitler, proclaimed a nationwide “Action Against the UnGerman Spirit” which climaxed in a literary purge by fire of all non-German books presaging an ear of state censorship and control of anything cultural.

By July the Nazi party was declared the only “legal” party in Germany and  a law was passed  to strip Jewish immigrants from Poland of their German citizenship.  The Nazis also passed a law allowing for forced sterilization of those found by a Hereditary Health Court to have genetic defects.  An estimated 350,000 Germans were sterilized by the end of WWII.

From July through the end of 1933, the Nazis excluded Jews from the Arts, prohibited Jews from owning land, stripped them from editing newspapers and passed a law against Habitual and Dangerous Criminals which allowed Gypsies, beggars, the homeless, alcoholics and the unemployed to be sent to concentration camps and the compulsory castration of rapists, homosexuals and pedophiles.

During 1934, while Hitler plotted his world domination, he banned Jews from the German Labor Front, refused them the right to receive medical care through the national health insurance and  prohibited them  from getting legal qualifications.

During 1935 Hitler banned Jews from serving in the military, instituted  forced abortions to prevent women from passing hereditary diseases and passed  the Nuremberg Race Laws which prevented Jews from intermarrying Aryans and changing  their status from German citizens to  “subjects”.  The Nuremberg Race Law also required that all Germans  pass a medical exam declaring them disease free in order to marry.

Hitler continued using the “race card” against  the Jews and his  persecution of not only  the Jews but those in Germany and “liberated” territories who disagreed with his agenda.   In 1937 “The Eternal Jew” exhibition opened promoting stereotypes of Jews and the danger they posed to the world.

In 1939, the Nazis secretly began their program of euthanasia on the sick and disabled in Germany with families of the deceased receiving falsified death certificates.  It was also at this time that the  Nazi controlled newspaper, Der Sturmer, published a series of  articles calling for the Jews to be  exterminated  root and branch.

In January 1940, Der Sturmer published  ”The time is near when a machine will go into motion which is going to prepare a grave for the world’s criminal – Judah – from which there will be no resurrection.” 

While the Holocaust refers to a period in history beginning January 1933 through V day, May 8, 1945,  Hitler did not begin his systematic murder of Jews until Germany invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941.   July 31, 1941, Goring issued orders  to  Heydrick:  “Supplementing the task assigned to you by the decree of January 24, 1939, to solve the Jewish problem by means of emigration and evacuation in the best possible way. . .I hereby charge you to carry out preparations as regards organizational, financial, and material matters for a total solution of the Jewish question in all the territories of Europe under German occupation. . .”

On January 20, 1942 Heydrich convened the Wannsee Conference in Berlin with 15 top Nazi bureaucrats to coordinate the Final Solution in which the Nazis would attempt to exterminate the entire Jewish population of Europe, an estimated 11 million people. 

To get a glimpse into the the mind of Hitler’s killing machine read excerpts from a speech given by Heinrich Himmler to SS Group Leaders in occupied Poland in 1943. 

From 1933 through the end of WWII, Hitler murdered  an estimated 5 million Gypsies, Serbs, Polish intelligentsia, resistance fighters, homosexuals, Jehovah’s Witnesses, criminals, anti-socials, the mentally ill, the disabled, the elderly and sick, vagrants and political prisoners.    Hitler also murdered an  estimated 6 million Jews. 

It would be easy to say that nothing like Hitler could ever happen to America.  Look around you!   We live in a country that is intentionally  divided by political rhetoric to serve a Socialist agenda.  Our rights have been and are continuing to be eroded by our own elected representatives.   Read the “Dismantling of America” by Thomas Sowell. 

John E. Dalberg Acton said that “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Leaders can delude themselves into thinking that they are working for the greater good while engaging in behavior that is morally and ethically wrong -  Rules  do not apply to me.  Some leaders  become intoxicated by power engaging in unethical and morally wrong behavior simply because they can and can get away with it.   The more power one posses the more they focus on their own egocentric desires and are less able to see another perspective.  Then there are those leaders who are just power hungry and prone to use their power to subjugate others.  But leaders like Hitler are just pure evil.   Let us pray this never happens to America.
