Answer – If Malia and Sasha had been at the movie theater, they would have been escorted by the Secret Service who would have whipped out their concealed firearms and taken the gunman out.
Unfortunately, private citizens do not have the luxury of body guards. The Second Amendment guarantees us the Right to Keep and Bear Arms so when confronted by a madman, we have the same opportunity to defend our own lives.
The New York Daily News wrote one of the most moronish articles I have ever read titled “Blood on Hands of Obama, Mitt and NRA!”. The article blames those who had nothing to do with the killing of innocent people. It’s their sick way of screaming gun control.

Standing at Holmes’ side as he sprayed bullets and buckshot into a crowded movie theater were Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, a President and a would-be President, who have bowed to the NRA’s dictates and who responded to the slaughter Friday with revolting, useless treacle.
So what does a firearm, hatchet, club, golf club, baseball bat, rock, shovel, pitch fork, knife, matches, ice pick, hammer, lug wrench, crowbar, vehicle, screwdriver, brick, 2×4 etc., have in common? They all can be used as deadly weapons in the hands of a deranged person.
So should we outlaw all the above because of the evil deeds of another? NO! There will always be the deranged among us. There is no way to predict who or where they are or when they may strike, which is why our gun rights are so important.
Even the police will tell you there is no guarantee they can protect you. So that leaves you to fend for yourself.
As far as anyone being responsible for the deeds of Holmes; Holmes is responsible for himself.
According to the thinking of the NYDaily news, if their gun control policies were inacted and owning firearms were outlawed, then wouldn’t they have blood on their hands for the death of every unarmed citizen at the hands of a madman?
Besides, if we knew all the deranged people and what they would do beforehand, we would have better government leaders.
