DNC CAVES TO PRESSURE! Invites Cardinal to Pray at DNC After Obama Snub
Timothy Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York, has accepted an invitation to deliver the closing prayer at next week’s Democratic National Convention. As was previously announced, he will also be offering the closing prayer at the Republican Convention on Thursday of this week.
It was made clear to the Democratic Convention organizers, as it was to the Republicans, that the Cardinal was coming solely as a pastor, only to pray, not to endorse any party, platform, or candidate. The Cardinal consulted Bishop Peter Jugis of the Diocese of Charlotte, who gave the Cardinal his consent to take part in the convention that will be taking place in his diocese.
Last week, when it was announced Cardinal Dolan would pray at the Republican National Convention, Democratic officials pointedly ignored the Cardinal’s offer to do the same at the Democratic National Convention.
But criticism of this snub grew, especially in light of the Democratic Party’s official embrace of a radical Muslim group’s “Jumah” at the DNC.
The DNC’s initial failure to invite Cardinal Dolan was seen as a victory of “social justice” Catholics over pro-life Catholics.
The victory was temporary, however, as the backlash (powered largely by new media outlets) was too great for the Democratic Party to ignore. Plans to continue with the controversial “Jumah at the DNC,” however, appear to be unaffected by the reversal of the Dolan snub. source: PPSimmons , breitbart
DNC Schedules Muslim Prayers
Have you heard of this “If Mitt Wins” book on Amazon? Here’s the kicker, I’m seeing all; over the web that it was put out BY someone IN the Obama campaign, and high up too! This is the book http://amzn.to/O2oFN3 the twitter is “@ifmittwins” and it is some of the most vile, hateful, anti-Christian, andti-American, PRO gay filth I’ve ever seen. I expect that low level of discourse from the left, but that it is being DISTRIBUTED by the Obama campaign makes me sick with anger. I’ve seen this on twitter for myself, and seen people talking about it on facebook, the Western Journalism website, even the Patriot Update site. Despicable. Is there nothing that can be done? Isn’t this against some kind of campaign law??
I’ve seen the book on Amazon for $3 which is $2.98 more than it’s worth. I haven’t read nor would want to read it, but anything the left does or says doesn’t surprize me. They’re running scared and exposing WHO they really are.
This administration has broken just about ever law known to man since taking office, lied and then lied about lying.
If what you say is true about the book; and I have no reason to doubt you, this is only an example of what they are capable of. Which is why everyone needs to cast their vote in the upcoming election.
Under the current administration things will only get worse if Obama is re-elected.
Dana I agree with you absolutely and completely. This kind of garbage is so typical of the left, despite all their empty platitudes of tolerance and equality. They only want tolerance for themselves; the socialists, athiests, gays, and terrorists that are ruining this country! Ask a leftie for their tolerance to extend to a good, hard working Christian person, and just SEE if they don’t choke laughing.

You Have Been Warned. Notice how the movie 2016 Obama’s America is being toted as against Obama and yet 1/2 the movie is narrated by Obama or Obama’s book yet the left cries for hatred against the Author of the movie. 3 1/2 years of this administration should be lesson enough where our country is headed. Learn about the islam/muslim brotherhood and sharia law. It’s not what America is about. I have made comment about President Obama response to the empty chair skit by Clint Eastwood. President Obama sitting in Presidents chair, has his back towards America and replies come back with it’s a joke or shame on me. No shame on all of us to allow this to happen.
