“Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. It is important for Christians to know and understand God’s word when opposing worldviews that seek to distort it for their own means.
A prime example of this distortion occurred on March 31st when the White House posted a message on X to the Trans community that: “You are made in the image of God, and you’re worthy of respect and dignity.” It should come as no surprise that the left distorted Genesis 1:27 to fit their agenda. This passage has nothing to do with the Trans community but everything to do with the fact that God created mankind in His own image, male and female. God was not confused in His creation of man and woman.
While the left often rails against the presence of religion, even to the point of mocking, they are not above using the Bible as a weapon to justify any left-wing cause, no matter how outrageous. Mike Lux of the Huffington Post went so far as to say that the Bible embodies “all kinds” of “liberal, lefty, progressive values,” that can be used to push their causes.
An article by Anthony Arroyo in the Washington Post argued that the Bible was the inspiration for Karl Marx’s dictum “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.” In another left-wing rag, Kittredge Cherry claimed that Christ was a “homosexual” who “lives in every individual of every different shade of sexual orientation and gender identity.” The Huffington Post featured an image of Christ on the cross writing the word “faggot’ to replace “INRI,” (King of the Jews).
Writer Nynia Chance, who proclaimed herself to be a “devout reader of the Bible,” showed her ignorance when she argued that the Bible supported abortion because God never specifically condemned mother’s murdering their unborn children.
Was it not Obama who repeatedly used the Bible to condemn economic principles and policies against redistribution of wealth or Jesse Jackson who called Jesus an Occupier who supported mass violence in public places? Wil Gafney, professor at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia loudly proclaimed that drag queens were her “favorite” theologians.
The Bible is not sacred to the left; it is only a tool to deceive the gullible, which they think all Christians are.
For the left human nature is not the source of evil; Capitalism, patriarchy, poverty, religion, nationalism, etc. is. They deny that mankind was created in the image of God with free will. Mankind to them is just another assemblage of stellar dust, firing neurons, not free will.
They loathe the concept of a divine order where there are no racial or ethnic distinctions but only defined distinctions such as male and female, the only human distinction that matters to God. They feel only distain for the concept of a Biblical nuclear family, the best suited to a create thriving and healthy society. They embrace a view that God is not necessary for mankind to thrive.
The left wants nothing more than for each of us to act as our own individual gods, casting stones at each other based on our own moral code and denying the authority and commandments of our Father.
We were warned in Galatians 6:7 that God will not be mocked. Mockery is an attitude of fools, the wicked, the proud and the ignorant. Their heart is cold, and, in their wickedness, they make a conscious decision to turn their back on God and pursue evil.
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night…The ungodly are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.” Psalm 1
