Ever wondered why Obama is so bent on destroying America’s military might?
Guided by the Communist Party USA, the U.S. “peace movement” is entering a new phase to exploit public concern over economic woes and “assist” Obama in his attempt to cut back on defense spending, weapons systems and overseas commitments.
Judith LaBlanc, a leader of the Communist Party USA, is the national field organizer for Peace Action, the country’s largest grassroots peace organization with 100,000 members across the country. In 2006, the Peace Action PAC helped to elect several peace candidates like Senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont and Senator Sherrod Brown from Ohio.
From 2005-2008, LaBlanc was the National Co-chair of United for Peace and Justice an organization that she helped found. Peace and Justice is a partner organization of the Institute for Policy Studies, founded in 1963 in Washington DC. They are a highly influential, but little known source of ideas, guidance and training for the U.S. and international left. It began as a revolutionary think-tank that consistently supported policies that facilitated the foreign policy goals of the Soviet Union and weakened the position of the United States.
LeBlanc joined the Communist Party USA in 1974, is one of the vice-chairs of the Party and chairs the Party’s Peace and Solidarity Commission – the body charged with running the U.S. “peace movement” and liaising with foreign revolutionary movements. The Communist Party USA, while now heavily aligned to China , Cuba and Venezuela, still maintains ties to the powerful Russian Communist Party.
LeBlanc rightly claims credit for helping to influence the 2008 elections. Sam Webb, the Communist Party National Secretary endorsed his friend, Obama, and offered the Party’s continued support for his 2012 election.
Communist Party’s infiltration of the Democratic Party has waxed and waned over the years, but now seems to be reaching for a new high. A big part of Sam Webb’s job consists of working to unite a fractious left behind and within the Democrat Party. Webb calls this the “people’s movement” – in effect all radical forces under the leadership or influence of the Communist Party and its allies in labor, the churches, “community organizations and the peace movement.
Peace Action (The Communist Party USA) is conveniently refocusing its ‘peace movement’ efforts to target the U.S. Military. LaBlanc wants to “help” Obama overcome American opposition in achieving his goal of a nuclear free world. Could it just be a coincidence that Obama is set to announce a new round of strategic nuclear warhead reductions, without Congressional approval? Could his agenda and the Communist agenda be one in he same?
The new Communist ‘STRIKE WHILE THE IRON IS HOT’ tactic will be to convince Americans that they genuinely care about the U.S. by harping on the human costs of wars, and the economic impact on our economy. According to LaBlanc “I believe that there are two trajectories for the peace movement. There is going to be a peace movement, a small one. . .but there is going to be another kind of peace movement that is more centered on making the links between the economic crisis and militarism, in effect a new kind of movement that is more, in a basic sense, an anti-militarism movement. . . Now. . .the Communists can marshal “peace” and “leftist support”. . .at a time when most Americans are more focused on economic survival than national security.”
The Communist-led “Fifth Columnists” of the U.S. “peace movement” have analyzed the situation well. They have a “window of opportunity” to destroy U.S. military dominance once and for all and they do not intend to waste it.
With Party “friend” Obama in the White House and far left Congressmen such as Barbara Lee, John Conyers, Danny K. Davis and Dennis Kucinich pushing a near identical agenda, the Communists would be foolish to jump the Democrat ship at this point.
