Does Being “Gay” Mean You Don’t Have To Obey The Law?

02The Homosexual Lobby believes in only one code of morality:  Whatever advances homosexuality in America is good, and anything or anyone who opposes it is bad.

In a clear case of statutory rape, Kaitlyn Hunt  of Florida has been charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a child 12-16 years of age.  Kaitlyn Hunt began a relationship with a teammate on her school’s basketball  team when she was 18 and the girl was only 14.  When the basketball coach found out, he kicked Hunt off the team – not because she is gay but because team players are not allowed to date each other.

The coach  informed the 14-year-old girl’s parents  of the relationship. They in turn, warned Hunt twice to stop the relationship but she refused so in an attempt to protect their underage daughter, they had no choice but to go to the police  –   Hunt was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a minor.

Hunt refused a deal which would involve pleading guilty to a charge of child abuse and accepting two  years of house arrest and a year of probation.    If convicted, she could face up to 15 years in prison and would have to register  as a sex offender, although a ‘Romeo and Juliet’ law  exempting offenders where the age gap  is less than four years, could help her avoid that status.

In addition to attacking the minor’s parents, homosexual activists have launched a petition on change.org demanding Florida’s state attorney overturn these charges because the ‘child’ consented to the act.   Had this been an 18 year old man with a young girl, no one would bat an eye at the criminal charges.  But the accused is a homosexual — and they think that entitles her to special rights under the law.

Right now, homosexual activists are bombarding the office of Florida’s state attorney Bruce Colton with demands that the case against Kaitlyn Hunt be dropped on the grounds of “specialized homosexual rights.”

Apparently being  homosexual now exempts one from obeying the law.   Do homosexuals have a “specialized right” to become involved in a relationship with a 10-year-old or a 5-year-old?  Who draws the line?  Could these same “specialized rights” be claimed by pedophiles?

It is up to us to counter the pressure on the  Florida State Attorney, 19th Judicial Circuit.  No one should be above the law – irregardless of their sexual orientation.

Please contact the office of Bruce Colton, State Attorney, and let him know you support his decision to protect our children.  His office address is 411 South 2nd Street, Ft. Pierce, Florida 334950 or call  772-465-3000.
