Buyback Toy Gun Program Held by School

They call it a buyback program but it isn’t.

Strobridge Elementary School in Hayward CA wants kids to turn in their plastic toy guns for a chance at winning a new bicycle. Apparently their names will be entered into a drawing (raffle) where one bicycle will be awarded.

Doesn’t sound like very good odds to me. One child will be getting the new bike and the others will have lost their toys.

The school’s principal Charles Hill said that “Playing with toy guns, and I’m going to shoot you,” desensitizes them, so as they get older, it’s easier for them to use a real gun.”

These people are Looney totally lack common sense.

I along with my brother and sister, as well as the other kids in the neighborhood played with toy guns as children and we knew it was pretend. When grown, not one of us went out and used a real firearm in the commission of a crime.

We also played with ropes and as adults never hung anyone. We played with dolls and played dress up but didn’t grow up to be transvestites, homosexuals or such.

The one thing we didn’t have was a bunch of whack-o bureaucrats or anti-freedom liberals filling our minds with crap at home or in our schools.

Sometimes I believe as children liberals only played with marbles, lost all of them and have not retrieved them as of today.
