If it isn’t enough that far-left loonies like Diane Feinstein want to define journalist in an attempt to get rid of bloggers, former NSA and CIA director Michael Hayden is now advocating for the U.S. government to adopt the Chinese style world web where users are forced to identify themselves before posting online content.
Hayden compared the web to the wild west where everything goes. “The problem I have with the Internet is that it’s anonymous.” Where might that be? The government, through NSA, already knows who we are, what we write, what we read, who we call or text.
Like Feinstein, Hayden would love to get rid of the bloggers in the U.S. who are a thorn in the side of socialist, marxists and power hungary politicians. He doesn’t think we – the peasants – are smart enough to figure out that, like China, the Obama administration and his band of Socialists wants to crush dissent.
Chinese bloggers that criticize the government are now being arrested and forced to “confess” their crimes as part of a return to a Mao style justice system. The Chinese government considers online criticism of the communist party and/or government as “defamation.” Their latest internet regulations are intended to “achieve the good social effect of attacking the extremely small minority and educating the large majority” to “standardise their online words and deeds. Those found guilty of online “rumour-mongering” can be sentenced to up to three years in prison.
If Feinstein and her ilk have their way – that may soon be the new Socialist American Way.
Last month, Hayden compared hackers, cyberactivists and transparency groups to Al-Qaeda terrorists, labeling them, “nihilists, anarchists, activists, Lulzsec, Anonymous, twentysomethings who haven’t talked to the opposite sex in five or six years.”
We must be doing something right for them to hate us so much!
