Typical of Obama’s reign, he has once again by-passed Congress in a not-so-veiled partnership with that loveable Socialist organization, the U.N., to shove the global warming redistribution scam down our throats.
Ignoring the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, Obama’s executive order said that, “the impacts of climate change — including an increase in prolonged periods of excessively high temperatures, more heavy downpours, an increase in wildfires, more severe droughts, permafrost thawing, ocean acidification and sea-level rise — are already affecting communities, natural resources, ecosystems, economies and public health across the nation.”
Sounds scary – but none of it is true.
In pushing the U.N.’s socialist scheme to defraud taxpayers, as well as up the ante on his redistribution of wealth schemes, Obama is deliberately ignoring the fact that there has been no global warming during his entire time in office, in fact, none since the nineties, and very little before that. Sea level is holding steady and its fluctuations measured in millimeters. Not only has there been nothing out of the ordinary about storm activity, we are nearing the end of what has so far been one of the gentlest hurricane seasons ever recorded. 2013 showed the lowest number of wildfires in the last decade. Arctic permafrost is stable, Arctic sea ice is back to normal, Antarctic ice is at record levels, droughts for the most part have been shorter and less frequent and flood loses as a percent of GDP have dropped 75% since 1940.
A recent paper in the peer-reviewed journal Climate Dynamics by professor Judith Curry of the Georgia Institute of Technology and Dr. Marcia Wyatt, is a stunning challenge to U.N. climate science orthodoxy. Both professors have identified a climate ‘stadium wave’ and have evidence going back at least 300 years of a number of cycles in the temperature of air and oceans, and the level of Arctic ice across the Northern hemisphere proving that the warming that did occur in the years before the pause [17 years ago] was not due to greenhouse gas emissions, but to the same cyclical wave. Curry and Wyatt claim that this ‘stadium wave’ signal predicts that the pause in warming could extend well in the 2030.
But the real purpose of the executive order isn’t climate change or global warming. It’s another power grab! While at first glance, Obama’s executive order may look harmless, if you look closely the possibilities are endless. This executive order gives the federal government power of all fossil fuels, land, water, air space. There’s not one thing the order would not cover or be able to be corrupted. And being backed by the federal government, gives them an awfully big hammer to use for those who do not comply.
Want to build a beach house on the ocean? Sorry, but rising seas will place that house underwater in 10 or 20 or 5,000 years. The Keystone Pipeline was dead before, now it’s buried. Want to add a bathroom to your house? Sorry, you might use more water and water will be short when global warming hits full blast.
Want to cut down that tree? Sorry but we need that tree to produce oxygen. Need a wider road? Sorry, but expanding the width of the road could damage the environment. Want to buy and raise a few head of cattle? Sorry, cows produce methane and methane is a greenhouse gas – raise daisies.
Dr. Roy Spencer, principal research scientist at the University of Alabama Huntsville and the recipient of NASA’s Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal for his work with global temperature monitoring satellites, put out one of his simple, yet authoritative graphical representations of world temperatures. The graph shows that 87 out of 90 of the U.N.’s climate computer models that Obama puts so much faith in are wrong. Actual temperature observations run much cooler than the U.N.’s faked predictions.
“Dangerous manmade global warming” has become the most systematic, massive, costly fraud ever perpetrated. This is a harsh judgment, but the mounting evidence is undeniable.
