The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have a big fat present for those that signed up for ObamaCare last year.
Through a new proposed rule that takes effect on December 25th, CMS is taking it upon themselves to re-enroll anyone who “forgot” to make their annual pilgrimage to Obamaland, into a new cheaper health insurance plan that the government approves of.
The fact that they will do this without knowing your medical history, without knowing whether or not you’re undergoing treatment for a major illness, or your preferences for a particular doctor or, even your financial status, is not of importance. After all, it’s the thought that counts, right?
The basic Constitutional question argued at the passage of ObamaCare was; Can the government force American citizens to purchase a product? The answer, according to King Obama and his merry band of elite socialist was yes, yes they can! Now the question to be answered is; Can the same socialist elite change your health insurance without your consent?
The CMS is quietly opening a comment period into that very question but the time is short and the door closes on December 25.
