Storm Troopers on Parade

00Resilience – a word defined as being able to recover quickly from difficulties.  But, if the left have their way, it will mean Progressively so much more!

The Rockefeller Foundation has a long history of pushing controversial Progressive ideas from population control through abortion and eugenics, to funding the Marxist affiliated Tides Foundation, to openly supporting Obama’s former Communist Green Job Czar Van Jones, to pushing for open borders, one world government and gun confiscation. But now they have “bigger” plans to advance their leftist agenda – AmeriCorps.

AmeriCorps VISTA, the dream of JFK, like Head Start and other lasting antipoverty programs, was created by The Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to serve the needs of the poorest Americans. It has always been a government-run, taxpayer-subsidized “community service” boondoggle which the Office of the Inspector General recently cited for waste, duplication, ineffective spending, criminal background check lapses, and repeated violations of the grant rules. And let’s not forget the AmeriCorps/Acorn fraud.

On July 9th of this year AmeriCorps announced that they were teaming up with several Federal Government agencies and the Rockefeller Foundation to launch the AmeriCorps Resilience division in an effort to “fight” nonexistent global warming through the Resilience AmeriCorps pilot program. This new division will assist the government in spreading propaganda by creating “education” and “outreach” materials to strength awareness and citizen engagement in low-income communities.   I can guarantee that the one bit of “education” they will neglect to mention to these low-income communities is that once all the left-wing global warming, climate change initiatives are instituted, they will no longer be able to heat and cool their homes or put food on the table for their children.

City resilience, as described in the Rockefeller City Resilience Framework report, is the capacity of cities to accept Marxism which the foundation describes as socialized healthcare, the U.N.’s Sustainable Development agenda, wealth redistribution, a living wage, unrestricted access to “legitimate occupations” and a collective identity. How Marxist does that sound?

So where did the Rockefeller Foundation come up with these wonderful progressive ideas on building a Resilient City? According to the Forward of the City Resilience Framework report, they credit Jane Jacobs, a progressive that once thanked Saul Alinsky for helping her write “The Death and the Life of Great American Cities.”

Published in 1961, Jacob’s book argued against urban renewal and introduced sociology concepts such as “eyes on the street” and “social capital,” paving the way for what became known as “advocacy planning.”

Other left-wing organizations, government agencies and foundations have jumped on the nonexistent “cause” to protect low-income communities from global warming.   The Kresge Foundation committed $10 million through their Climate Resilience and Urban Opportunity Initiative to buy support for Obama’s global warming agenda in local and regional planning, and policy development.

Obama also announced grants of $11.8 million to native American tribes to buy their support for his climate agenda. And in June he announced the Interagency Working Group on Environmental Justice’s New Educate, Motivate and Innovate Climate Justice Initiative to indoctrinate the next generation of “climate justice” leaders.

So as you notice Obama’s Storm Troopers roaming about your town trying to make it more “Resilient,” to a nonexistent global warming crisis, just smile and remember. They were sent by Obama and the Rockefeller Foundation and they’re here to help – in their own Marxist way.
