Not Ashamed and Not Guilty

In response to Emory University professor of philosophy George Yancy’s article, Dear White America”.

Why should I be ashamed of my race? For that matter, why should anyone be ashamed of his or her race?

I am white and proud of it. If I had been born black or any other race, I would be equally  as proud. There is not one person on the face of this earth who has any control over the race they were born, except Jesus Christ.

That being said, God our Father created all the races on the 6th day with the exception of one, which was the 8th day creation of “The Adam” , the lineage that would bring our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into the world.

Genesis 1:26 – And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:……….

1:27 – So God created man………..male and female created he them.

1:31 – And God saw everything that he made, and behold it was good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

To whom was God speaking when he used the words “our image”? He was speaking to you; to all of us. We were with him in a spiritual body before we became flesh.

God states he created us in the flesh the exact way we were while in a spiritual body…… after our own likeness……..AND it was GOOD!

Genesis 2:1 The heavens and the earth were finished and the host (people) of them; then 2:2 on the 7th day God rested.

On the 8th day………

Genesis 2:5 – ………….and there was not a man to till the ground.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

In verse 18 God tells us he placed this man (Adam) in the garden of Eden and that he should not be alone. God  then created a woman (Eve) to be Adam’s helpmate (wife). This is the 8th day creation of Adam and Eve.

God created us, each and every one. Who are we to question his reasons?

I don’t look down on any race and neither should you. If you consider the color of my skin to be white privilege, that’s a problem you need to take up with God, our creator.

I will never be ashamed because I am white, I will never feel guilty because I am white, and I will never apologize because I am white.

God created me, then looked at me and said it was good. If I’m good enough for God, I’m good enough for anyone.

If my skin color rubs you the wrong way, that’s your own personal problem.

Deal with it.
