“The post-totalitarian system touches people at every step, but it does so with its ideological gloves on. This is why life in the system is so thoroughly permeated with hypocrisy and lies; the complete degradation of the individual is presented as his ultimate liberation; depriving people of information is called making it available; the use of power to manipulate is called the public control of power, and the arbitrary abuse of power is called observing the legal code; the repression of culture is called its development; the expansion of imperial influence is presented as support for the oppressed; … banning independent thought becomes the most scientific of world views; military occupation becomes fraternal assistance.
Because the regime is captive to its own lies, it must falsify everything. It falsifies the past. It falsifies the present, and it falsifies the future. It falsifies statistics. It pretends not to possess an omnipotent and principled police apparatus. It pretends to respect human rights. It pretends to persecute no one. It pretends to fear nothing. It pretends to pretend nothing.” Vaclar Havel, Czechoslovakia, The Power of the Powerless
Americans are becoming increasingly disinterested in things that really matter, things such as faith, family, and freedom. Instead, many of today’s “me” generation have become self-obsessed narcissists with a warped sense of reality. No longer possessing common sense or the ability to think for themselves they have become enslaved to the talking heads.
Our educational (and I use that term loosely) system is nothing more than government indoctrination centers where our children are turned against everything we have valued as a nation since its inception. Values, morality, faith, and personal responsibility have fallen victim to political correctness.
We have become desensitized to violence through computer games, television and Hollywood’s version of entertainment wrapped in vulgar senseless foul-mouthed actors engaged in cruel twisted plots that glorify violence and sexual perversion. The sight of ISIS beheading Christians on YouTube no longer phases us. We have become a nation where the good guys are maligned and the bad guys celebrated, rewarded and protected in the halls of power.
We elected a president that never seems to miss an opportunity to display his bias for Muslims against Christians. A president who has thrown open our southern border to the drug cartel, illegal immigrants and terrorists all openly welcomed by the welfare state. Yet, Iraqi Christians fleeing persecution who managed to cross our southern border are arrested and deported to a certain death.
As Russian President Vladimir Putin said before the U.N., while addressing those nations that supported the “Arab Spring,” chief among them America: “Instead of the triumph of democracy and progress, we got violence, poverty, and social disaster – and nobody cares a bit about human rights, including the right to life. I cannot help asking those who have forced that situation: Do you realize what you have done?”
Everywhere Obama helped Islamic jihadis topple secular autocrats in the name of “democracy and freedom,” indigenous Christian minorities are either forced to convert to Islam or die. Just this August near Aleppo, ISIS tortured, mutilated, publicly raped, beheaded and crucified 12 Christians for saying they “would never renounce Christ” for Muhammad.
The terrorists put one group in front of a large crowd where they cut off the fingertips of a 12-year-old boy who refused to submit before crucifying him and three others. Their bodies were left on the crosses for two days as a threat to others in the area. The other eight Christians, including two women were ordered to renounce Christ and embrace Islam. When they refused ISIS terrorists publicly raped the two women who continued to pray during the ordeal. They along with other men were then publicly beheaded and their bodies hung on crosses.
In Libya earlier this year, ISIS released a video depicting 21 Coptic Christians being decapitated in the North African nation. While holding their victims’ bodies down, ISIS members shoved their fingers in the Christians’ eyes, craned their heads back and sliced away at the throats with knives.
In Pakistan a two-year old child was raped because her father was a Christian who refused to submit to Islam. Another Christian was hacked into pieces with an axe. In Uganda Islamic jihadist stormed a church where they hacked one 18-year-old woman to death.
When ISIS released another video in April of Ethiopian Christians being shot in the back of the head and beheaded, a masked spokesman warned: “We say to Christians everywhere, ISIS will expand, with allah’s permission. And it will reach you even if you are in fortified strongholds. So whoever enters Islam will have security…But whoever refuses will see nothing from us but the edge of a spear. The men will be killed and the children enslaved, and their wealth will be taken as booty. This is the judgment of allah and his messenger.”
Make no mistake about it – this is exactly what they plan for Christians in Europe and the United States.
Obama claims that “America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles of justice and progress, tolerance and the dignity of all human beings”. I have to ask – what planet does this man live on?
