President Obama’s “Town Hall” meeting Thursday night featuring a so-called open dialog on his Executive Orders on gun control was a total sham — truly a media propaganda event.
It is now widely reported that CNN and the Obama administration stacked the participants in the invitation-only event to push a more uniform narrative. For example, during the event President Obama scolded the NRA for refusing to participate. We later learned from FoxNews that the NRA was given the opportunity to offer just one pre-screened question!
As we saw with the passage of ObamaCare, the tools of the Obama administration are deception, misdirection, and manipulation when it comes to advancing their agenda – and gun control is high among those priorities in the President’s final year in office.
This is no time for American patriots to be lulled into a sense of false security that these gun control measures are somehow benign or won’t really amount to anything. Nothing could be further from the truth! Dana, at stake is the further subversion of our Second Amendment rights… a dramatic expansion of federal control and power… and yet another crippling blow to law-abiding citizens.
The bottom line: With every opportunity, our lawless President will run roughshod over the Constitution and every American’s personal liberties.
We cannot allow our constitutionally protected rights to be dismantled by this tyrannical President who has repeatedly shown no regard for the rule of law or the checks and balances built into our Constitution and its precious Bill of Rights! Liberty Counsel’s “Stand Your Ground on the Second Amendment” campaign is designed to remind our elected representatives that THEY are accountable to uphold the Constitution.
Barack Obama is treating gun control as another piece of his so-called presidential legacy. This remains one of his highest priorities. The President has repeatedly said that Executive Orders were necessary because Congress “failed to act on common sense proposals.” This is another of Obama’s overt deceptions. Congress has acted by firmly rejecting the administration’s anti-gun wish list! “We the People” demand that our federal government honor the Second Amendment as an important component of the rule of law established by the United States Constitution.
