There are few issues as important to the life of a nation as the integrity of its borders and the nature of its citizens, both which define and shape its future. Without borders, a nation ceases to exist.
America’s borders have been under assault for the last fifty years with consequences that are measurable and very disturbing. The assault has been led by an open borders lobby that is both sophisticated and powerful, with a history of antagonism to American purposes and a record of active support for America’s enemies. Its funders are the multi-billion dollar elite and the foundations they run or support, with more discretionary income at their disposal than is possessed by either political party, any business group, or even the federal government itself.
The open borders campaign was instrumental in damaging the nation’s ability to defend itself long before the 9/11 terrorist attacks, which by the way, neither caused these radical activists to have second thoughts or temper their reckless agenda. Instead, since 9/11, these activists have expanded their efforts to eliminate America’s border controls, as well as deactivate America’s defense against terrorists and terrorist organizations.
The concept of “open borders” has long been an agenda of the left. Since the 1960’s a vast network, including hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of activists, backed by hundreds of millions from left-wing foundations funded by the elite, have waged a sustained campaign to open our borders to mass migration. While talking in terms of “human rights,” the rights they demand are not those enshrined in our Bill of Rights, but those claims on society that equate “ social justice” that includes redistribution of wealth, welfare, and special treatment for designated groups that are the familiar menu of the left and would, if enacted, amount to a revolution in America’s existing social order – which is precisely their intent.
The open border movement emerged from the radicalism of the 1960s and matured in the fight over amnesty for illegal aliens in the 1980s. It gained mainstream status in 1990s as “globalization” and “multilateralism” fads of the decade encouraged talk of a “world without borders” and the decline and demise of the nation-state. At the very center of this movement is the leftist Ford Foundation, the largest tax-exempt foundation in the world.
Under the leadership of McGeorge Bundy (1966-1979), a dissident liberal who broke with Lyndon Johnson over the Vietnam war, the Ford Foundation embraced a leftist assault on American society, bankrolling the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund, along with La Raza, while expanding the role of established leftwing organizations like the ACLU, and promoting radical Marxist organizations like the National Lawyers Guild. They fund and promote “multiculturalism” in college and university programs to undermine the concept of a national identity.
This leftist campaign to radically alter America’s values and culture through open borders presents a danger that parallels the anti-American agenda of the Islamic jihad. Politically engineered demographic shifts and terrorism is not unrelated. Immigrants, whether legal or illegal help create networks used by criminals and terrorists to provide entry into the country for other illegals. We’ve already seen this happen as legal Muslim immigrants have bonded with foreign movements, either threating Americans directly or leaving the country to joint terrorist organizations fighting American troops. We’ve heard calls from ISIS and other terrorist organizations for Muslims to rise up and murder innocent Americans.
It is estimated that the true number of illegals in our country number is anywhere from 30 to 45 million and no one has any idea how many of these are actual terrorists who have invaded our country through Obama’s open border policy. Judicial Watch confirmed that ISIS was operating a camp in northern Mexico just a few miles from El Paso, Texas. According to a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector, “coyotes” working for the notorious Juarez cartel are involved in moving “ISIS terrorists through the dessert and across the border between Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, New Mexico.” Moreover, east of El Paso and Ciudad Juarez, cartel backed “coyotes” are smuggling members of ISIS through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas.
According to the same sources, another ISIS cell is said to be located in Puerto Palomas, located to the west of Ciudad Juárez, “targeting Columbus and Deming, New Mexico for easy access into the U.S. During the course of a joint operation, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss — the sprawling military installation that houses the U.S. Army’s 1st Armored Division.

And living with the consequences of the left’s radical open border agenda means that American lives are in danger. Criminals and terrorists are pouring across our borders. Drug smugglers, who are all cartel members, are coming in a steady stream. The Mexican cartel runs Chicago and is currently operating in more than 1200 U.S. cities.
According to the Justice Department, illegal alien gangs are responsible for 80% of all crimes and are the primary distributors of illicit drugs. In 2011, the FBI reported that gang membership had grown to more than 1 million. And while I was unable to find any estimates after that time, you know it’s even worse now.
How many more innocent American citizens have to die to fulfill the left’s radical policies?
