It’s a constant challenge for any county to maintain a secret police force and keep it under control. Unfortunately, they soon discover that once you have empowered the underbelly of the beast, they will eventually wield it against you, should the winds of power shift.
In the wake of 9/11, the FBI infiltrated mosques, inserted spooks, and actively tried to recruit devout Muslims to join in acts of terrorism. Think about it – the FBI didn’t hear about existing terror plots and then infiltrate to stop the attack – they tried to instigate terrorist attacks.
It’s not like they haven’t had loads of practice at this kind of deceit. In the late 1960s, they were pushing peace activists to move from protest to violence. Revolver News cites five times the FBI employed informers to incite and advance terrorist schemes, working to endanger citizens in order to entrap a potential radical.
Then there was the World Trade Center bombing in 1993, which came close to succeeding in the murder of tens of thousands of New Yorkers. The FBI informant became “the key figure” in the plot, not only volunteering to build bombs and test the timing devices, he went so far as to renting the group’s safe house where he planned to mix the explosives.
The attempted massacre at the “Draw Muhammad” contest in Garland, Texas is another example. Two radical Muslims planned to slaughter anti-jihad writers Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, and hundreds of attendees. Both of the terrorists, armed with six guns and more than 1,500 rounds of ammo, wore body armor. It turns out that an FBI informant had been in close contact with the shooters for weeks, and had even encouraged them “to tear up Texas.” In this instance, the FBI played no part in stopping the attack; their agents fled the scene in a panic, leaving local law enforcement to save the day.
While the FBI denies having any involvement in the January 6 protest in D.C., it came to light that they did have informants on the ground. There is mounting evidence that any serious illegalities committed on January 6 were likely instigated by FBI infiltrators or informants. Dozens of demonstrators who wandered into the Capital, unaware of a police lockdown, sauntered past smiling cops, not realizing they were breaking the law.
There was a very small core of militia-type, right-wing dissidents who believed they were there to support Trump in a reversal of a stolen election. The leading figure, cited in dozens of indictments, in this “militia” operation was “Oath Keepers” leader Stewart Rhodes. He gave all the orders – he even launched the plan. And yet, he’s one of the only major figures from January 6 who hasn’t been indicted. All his friends and associates are languishing in solitary. But Rhodes walks free. Why hasn’t the January 6 committee subpoenaed Stewart Rhodes?
Another ringleader, who instigated the aggressive intrusion of protestors past locked doors and police lines, was Randy Epps. In a recent column at The Stream, Gov. Mike Huckabee cited a Revolver report about Epps’ insistence that everyone stay focused on the mission of storming the Capital. When questioned about his crazy plan, Epps continually fell back on his catch-all rationale that “it was about the Constitution.” People in a several groups Epps spoke to suggested that he might be a “Fed.” The FBI put Epps on their “most wanted” list for a while, but when Revolver News came out with their first big story, he disappeared from the list.
Remember the so-called “right-wing” plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, and “try” her for treason? The number of FBI infiltrators exposed continues to outnumber the actual defendants in the trial, suggesting that the FBI may have instigated the kidnapping plot. Some of those informants, working in secret, did more than passively observe and report the actions of suspects to the FBI. They had a hand in nearly every aspect of the alleged plot, starting with its inception.
A longtime government informant not only helped organize a series of meetings around the country but paid for some hotel rooms and fed the men as an incentive to come. The extent of their involvement raises questions as to whether there would have even been a conspiracy without the FBI’s help.
Just this week, Republican lawmakers released an internal FBI email that shows the counterterrorism unit is monitoring parents who dare to question the local school boards’ decision to teach their children that white people are evil, despite Attorney General Merrick Garland denying such surveillance. The email, obtained by Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee from a whistleblower, states that agents should apply the threat tag “EDUOFFICIALS” to investigations and assessments of the threats.”
As a matter of interest, on November 16, the FBI, heavily armed, raided the home of an activist mother of 3 in Colorado. The armed agents knocked down her door and handcuffed her while she was homeschooling her children. Mrs. Sherronna Bishop says that while she was being handcuffed, the agents manhandled her 18 year old daughter, dragging her upstairs by her hoodie.
Bishop’s crime? Besides being a frequent attendee at her local school board meetings, and active participant in the voter integrity movement in her state, this mom runs the website Americasmom.net which features articles and video under the title We the Parents: How Did We Get Here?
The FBI has gone into the business of helping the far-left political party in power, by infiltrating, entrapping its opponents and intimidating anyone who dares stand up to them. That’s how the East German Stasi once operated, and of course, the Ministry of Love in the novel 1984.
