Big changes may come to abortion law as the Supreme Court contemplates the many flaws of Roe v. Wade. Roe could continue as if nothing is wrong, or be significantly weakened, returning the issue of abortion to the states where people could have a voice and a vote.
Abortion is a big business, and that business wants to make certain that the death toll stays on the rise, willing to sacrifice their customers to ensure that babies don’t draw their first breath. This became evident when in December of 2021 the FDA permanently removed a key restriction on chemical abortion pills, thereby allowing them to be available by mail and prescribed through telehealth medical consultants.
In their diminutive wisdom, the Biden-supervised science guys decided that no-test online abortion pill distribution was just the thing to dump onto America’s strained health-care system. In their words, health and safety had to go “to minimize the burden on the health care delivery system” and because they said they found “that the benefits of the drug outweigh(ed) the risks.” Leave it to the FDA to abandon the women risking death just because not everyone will die.
Chemical abortion pills, sent by mail, even to minors, without parental or informed consent, without a medical exam to determine the gestational age of the preborn child or to rule out a tubal pregnancy or twins, is a recipe for harm to women and society as a whole. In addition, as pointed out by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the research arm of the Susan B. Anthony List, mail-order abortion pills will allow boyfriends, sex offenders ad pedophiles to kill an unborn child by giving the pills to unsuspecting women or their victims.
The Biden Administration must be held accountable for such a radical abuse of power using Covid-19 as an excuse.
While the abortion industry pushes the pills as simple and safe that is not always the case. Chemical abortion pills have 4 times the complications of a surgical abortion, with a risk of death that is 10 times higher according to a National Institute of Health Study. In fact, women have already died using the pills.
The rate of abortion-related emergency room visits following a chemical abortion increased over 500% from 2002 through 2015, according to an analysis of Medicaid claims data. Over the same period, chemical abortions within the study population increased from 4.4% to 34.1% of total abortions.
The U.S. has no National Abortion Reporting law because that would not be in the interest of the abortion is safe lie. All that we know about abortion “safety” come from the pinky swear promise of abortion vendors who give voluntary data to perhaps the CDC or the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute. While the CDC did initially request complication data that occurred during a surgical abortion, they exempted hospital emergency rooms or health care providers not associated with the actual abortion from reporting complications they treated later. The CDC complication data was thus so miniscule that they dropped its collection after 1988 and only asked state health departments to compile the number of abortions performed in their state.
Three Democrat presidents played critical roles in fostering the use of self-administered chemicals to end the life of unborn babies.
Bill Clinton arranged for chemical abortion approval and manufacturing by ordering the FDA in 1993 to bring the French abortion pill to America under FDA’s import regulations. By working with the Population Council, a private organization founded by men like the Rockefellers, Clinton got around Congress potentially blocking funds to promote mail order chemical abortions, similar to the Hyde Amendment that blocked federal funding of Medicaid abortions.
The Obama/Biden Administration charged the FDA to lessen requirements for chemical abortion pills. As a result the FDA decided that only one abortion pill was need instead of two, that women did not need to confirm that their abortion was successful, that a licensed doctor was not needed to prescribe abortion pills, and that the pills could be used up to 70 days gestation. And to keep the lie going that chemical abortion were safe, the FDA ruled that abortionists were not required to report complications to Danco, the manufacturer, but were required to report deaths. And naturally the death of the baby, being the ultimate outcome, was never reported.
According to a CNN report, Bill Clinton convinced Roussel-Uclaf, a French drug manufacturer, to give a patent to the US Population Council founded in 1950 by men like John D. Rockefeller, who gave the right to manufacturer chemical abortion pills in the USA to Danco Lab, a business that was established with seed money from philanthropists like David Packard, among others. The Packard Foundation has been a long-time investor in Danco Labs and funds projects like the one that pressured the FDA to lift important safety regulations so pills can be sold across multiple on-line platforms.
With releasing chemical abortion pills to anyone that can pay for them, Joe Biden is continuing the left’s business of death.
