Delusion vs. Reality

You can have ignorance, or you can have self-knowledge. You can live deluded, or you can live for truth. Maxime Lagacé

It’s been said that we only use about 10% of our brain capacity.  I can believe that!  With some people I’d bet it’s not nearly that much.  But even if it were true most people have little danger of overloading the little gray cells.

Access to information should give us better perspective and, with luck, a greater understanding of the world, of politics, of life in general.  Unfortunately, having access to so much information, a large portion of which isn’t real, can lead us down the path to oblivion. We all have a duty to sort through what we read or hear in order to make an informed decision on what is the truth.

Facts don’t tell us what we ought to do, they tell us what is. The less information is verifiable, the less value it has. Facts are not scientific because a “scientist” says they are. After the last two years, we know that when people use facts or “science” as a club or a goad, they’re not being scientists, they’re being Progressives. When we encounter anyone who argues that “the science is settled,” or “scientists agree,” then what they’re telling us is that they want you to obey, not to think or start a discussion.

We’ve all head the adage that if you tell a lie long enough it becomes truth.  While often attributed to Lenin, in fact, the quote is taken from The Crown of Life written in 1869: “If a lie is only printed often enough, it becomes a quasi-truth, and if such a truth is repeated often enough, it becomes an article of belief, a dogma, and men will die for it.”

Here are some facts you can take to the bank.

If lies can convince the peasants to settle for less, the ruling caste is more than happy to oblige.  You want cheap gas and a functioning supply chain, air conditioning and meat instead of bugs, you’re a terrible person.  Even more importantly, if you expect the ruling elite to actually do the job they were elected to do, you’re a racist domestic terrorists.

Bums litter our streets, criminals run rampant unmolested by the gendarmes, who have been told to let the crooks be. Our economy is sensational, groovy, and glorious, except for the inflation and the hollowing out of your 401K. Try to buy a house instead of renting – just try.

The global elite have failed in doing what we want, but it seems to be doing what it wants. It is gathering power and payoffs unto itself, and that is precisely the goal. If we are worried about feeding our families, and they control the food, then we are less likely to get uppity and demand that our elite not suck.

They really do hate you, and they really do want you dead or enslaved. And until every American gets that, we’re going to merely manage the decline instead of going on the counter-offensive and wreaking these people and their trash ideology once and for all.

The social sciences, which didn’t exist until the Progressive Era, are as scientific as making sausage or running a manure spreader.  The humility we all need can come from others or from within ourselves. We can offer it and share it, but it can’t be forced, it isn’t a one-way street.  When we encounter someone who will not hear or consider, but only dismisses, then we’ve entered into group think which is the only thing the left considers appropriate.  Tribalism is a sign of cultural decay.

George Carlin pegged it when he said that “governments don’t want a population capable of critical thinking.  They want obedient workers, people just smart enough to run the machines and just dumb enough to passively accept their situation.”

Transition to “net zero” via wind and solar power is a total fantasy.  It cannot happen without undermining our economy, lifestyle and security and, it certainly cannot occur at anything remotely approaching reasonable cost.  At some point, the ongoing forced transition will crash and burn.  No sane, let alone competent, government would ever be headed down this path.

Gender identity is an invented term that obscures reality.  In truth, gender is inseparable from biological sex because it’s the expression of one’s biological sex. Though expressions may vary, gender, like sex, cannot ultimately be changed.

Prove me wrong!

The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it. George Orwell
