Being called a “pedestrian” was at one time considered an insult since only the Overlords were allowed the luxury of carriages or horses. The industrial revolution eliminated this class difference, as it did so many others, by making car ownership available to the masses. Unfortunately, the Overlords have never gotten over it which is why they have spent the last two generations trying to come up with a plan to put the peasants back in their place.
And it’s quite a plan they have devised, a plan they claim will save the planet for future generations of peasants. Eliminate cars, but not all cars mind you, only those cars with combustible engines, cars that “guzzle” gas or diesel; affordable cars that the peasants drive. Think I’m exaggerating?
Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm recently responded to concerns about high gas prices by urging consumers to buy electric cars. You know, those overpriced fire starters that the woke crowd love to have their picture taken with! Cars that cost more than most peasants make in a year.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is taking it a step further by calling for the elimination of all private car ownership. Of course they also want to abolish refrigerators, dishwashers, light bulbs, guns of course, plastics, charcoal grills, natural gas, fossil fuels, disposable diapers, smartphones, computers, private property, farms and food, at least for the peasants.
The WEF has been advocating for a massive reduction of motor vehicles for years. In December of 2016, the forum set as a goal for “the future of transport,” a 90% decrease of vehicles on the road. And unfortunately, they are not alone in seeing “criminal culpability” in anyone who owns a car for private use.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) has directed global governments to urgently cut oil supply to domestic consumers (the peasants) in order to “nudge” them out of their cars.
The European Union voted to back a ban on the sale of non-electric cars by 2035. California has banned the sale of gas-powered vehicles by 2035, despite the fact they don’t have the infrastructure to charge them and regardless of the fact that it would put more than half of mechanics out of work and leave most of the state unable to afford cars.
Canada has its own 2035 car ban. Last year, Governor Newsom and Governor Cuomo, along with 10 other governors, urged Biden to impose a 2035 car ban on all Americans.
Government officials in the United Kingdom are debating the elimination of private ownership of vehicles, to be replaced with a more “shared transport” approach, which Trudy Harrison, the Transport Minister, hopes will eliminate private vehicle ownership.
The New South Wales government is planning a Future Transport Strategy which basically is a new mileage tax to force Sydney drivers to swap their cars for bikes. Owners of EV’s, of course, would pay a smaller mileage tax. Drivers will be monitored by GPS and a “ring of cameras” from 7 AM to 6 PM on weekdays and Noon to 6 PM on weekends to keep track of their mileage.
All of these new proposals are in alignment with the International Energy Agency recommendations to reduce gas use, along with things like “car-free Sundays”, goals in alignment with our overlords at the World Economic Forum and the United Nation’s Agenda 2030.
The vision of a world in which private car ownership is a luxury, available only to the Overlords is not very far away.
Let’s face reality – the Overlords’ dream is not to put you in an EV – it’s the Pol Pot dream of dismantling civilization and rolling back the industrial revolution.
Once the Dark Age norms are restored, peasants will return to being pedestrians and only the overlords will ride (and eat real food).
