They Mean To Be Masters

“The Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters.” Austin Frank

By now I’m sure you’ve figured out that there are two Americas. One is populated by common folks, like us, who pay the bills. The other is populated by self-anointed elitists who live at our expense.  It’s horrible but it’s true.

People given unearned power and money will not manage it with integrity.  Our now radicalized federal government, infatuated with the siren song of absolute power, is at war with the Constitution itself and its citizens’ allegiance to the articles of self-government. They have devolved into parasites.

Over the last century we have seen our government succumbed to corporate self-perpetuation, money, power and the introduction of radical, autocratic ideologies, according to Michael Giere in his article, We’re On Our Own.

As each institution is lost, Americans have become more disconnected and irrelevant to the powers that be.   Government agencies, bureaucrats, the Justice Department, the FBI, big business, national media and political institutions are no longer working for us – they are actively working against us.  They no longer even pretend to care what we think or what would be in the best interest of the country. The institutional rot is stunning.

Who is responsible for the mess we’re in?   We are!  We continue to elect and re-elect the same old tax and spend crowd.  Garbage In – Garbage Out.   We’ve allowed them to shut us down through intimidation by abandoning what we know is right. Why do we allow ourselves to be taken to the slaughter house without so much of a whimper?

No one is coming to save us. We can’t rely on political parties, politicians or preachers any longer. We only have God and ourselves.  We must fight for liberty; we must fight for our children to inherit the goodness of what was once America.

Liberty is not a common practice around the world. It is and always has been the rarest commodity on earth and with our cultural downslide may soon become extinct. If America as we know it perishes, humanity will enter a new dark age from which it will never recover. Save America Foundation
