Chrislam in America?

John Nassivera, a former professor  at Columbia’s Society of Fellows in the Humanities, is a self-avowed Democrat and a Catholic. Decidedly upset with the nomination of Kavanagh for the Supreme Court, Nassivera claims that “the Supreme Court has enough Catholics as it is.”  He is also a Trump hater who believes that nationalism is racists and hateful, and loves to compare Trump and his followers to Hitler.  The good professor claims that the only reason Democrats lost the last election was because they came across as too “secular,” allowing the GOP to claim the Christian vote. Right, couldn’t possibly have been because no one wanted Hillary!

In order to defeat Trump, Nassivera claims that the Democrats must stop thinking that there is only “one form of Christianity” in this country and get “some religion”.  True to his left-wing Democratic tendencies, Nassivera is now claiming that an amalgamation of Christianity and Islam, i.e. Chrislam, can hold the key for a more powerful world.

What began in Nigeria as a mixing of Christianity and Islam, Chrislam has very few followers in Nigeria  and in the United States perhaps because the two religions are completely incompatible.  For Chrislam to be viable, Christians would have to accept that Jesus is not the son of God but only a messenger of the Muslim god, which is the not the Abrahamic God of the Christian faith.

Everything that Christianity stands for is contradicted by Muhammed in the Quran. Unlike the content of other religious beliefs, Islam redefines the events and facts from the Christian Bible. And the reasons for these contradictions are pretty clear.

For Christians, Christ is the Messiah, the one who by his reconciling death provided atonement for man kind. Muslims teach that Christ was just a prophet, certainly not the son of God. The Trinity, God the father, God the son and God the Holy Sprit, is a lie. Christ did not die on the cross, it was only a mirage (Quran 4:157). He was but a human, a prophet, nothing more. Anyone who accepts Jesus as the son of God is accursed (Quran 9;30) and anyone who teaches the divinity of Christ is an unbeliever (Quran 5:17).

Islam is not a religion of redemption. Anyone who knows the Old and New Testament and then reads the Quran can clearly see the process by which it completely reduces the Divine Revelation. In Islam, all the richness of God’s self-revelation has been set aside.

The prominent element in Islamic daily prayers is the recitation of Al-Fatihah, the Opening, the first chapter of the Quran, often described as a blessing, but it is anything but. The first request is for guidance “in the straight path” of Allah’s blessed ones, not the path “of those against whom you are wrathful, nor of those who are astray.” Muhammed tells us who these people are – the wrathful, those who have earned the anger are the Jews and those who are led astray are the Christians.

The Quran also says that Muslims must fight against and subjugate the Christians until they pay the Jizra (a tax) with willing submission and feel themselves subdued – Quran 9:29. Jews, of course, are not to be subdued but eliminated.

“Former professor John Nassivera claims that as the world becomes smaller and smaller, and more interconnected through globalism, Christians and Muslims are going to become better and better informed about each others’ religion. “Already in Europe and Africa, Christians and Muslims are now living cheek by jowl and even inter-marrying. Truth will come out, and the truth is that Islam and Christianity have a great deal in common — especially 21st century liberal and progressive Christianity, which is a well-established movement….As the Quran says in Surah 29: 45-49: “Dispute not with the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) … but say, We believe in the Revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; our God and your God is one; and it is to Him we all bow.”   May God, Allah and Chrislam be with you.”

When so-called Christians attempt to blur the line between the God of Abraham and the pagan god of Islam,  heads up – Muslims will happily use such religious syncretism to gain entry into Christian circles if for no other reason than the creation of more dhimmitude – Christians in servitude to Islam.

Islam is not only incompatible with the Bible but with America,  a society that values Judeo-Christian principles and religious freedom.  Islam will accept no other religions, no competing economic or political views, and no legal system except Sharia Law which would outlaw Christianity.

In the Judeo-Christian realm, Islam will never be spread by public acceptance. Therefore, the only way to merge Christianity to Islam is through acceptance by Christian leaders.

Pope Francis, who has previously called for a “one world government” to “save humanity”, who has said in the past that it is wrong to identify Islam with terrorism and that social justice and idolatry of money were among the prime causes of terrorism, has now signed a historic covenant with leaders of the world’s major faiths.  According to the document, published on the Vatican’s official website, all religions must be considered equal, and Islam is as acceptable to God as Christianity.

The signed document emphasized more than once that the word “God” is used to simultaneously identify Allah and the God of Christianity.  It also states that  “the diversity of religions” that we see in the world was “willed by God”…  In essence, this is saying that it is the will of God that there are hundreds of different religions in the world and that they are all acceptable in His sight.

Yet, throughout the Word of God  we read about righteousness and salvation by faith in Christ alone; that we are saved by the grace of God through faith (Eph. 2:8-9).

No where in the Bible does God say we are to join together with false religions. On the contrary, He warned against it. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? and what concord hath Christ with Belial? or hath he that believeth with an infidel?” 2 Corinthians 6: 14-15

Our real enemy is Satan, our struggle is a spiritual one, and we need to stand strong on the Word of God.
