The sexual abuse and exploitation of children is one of the most vicious crimes conceivable, a violation of mankind’s most basic duty to protect the innocent.
Scott Richard Swirling, who was the director of the National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association (NFPRHA), was arrested and pled guilty to traveling interstate to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and faces a maximum sentence of 30 years as well as a fine of up to $250,000.
Swirling entered the guilty plea in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and is to be sentenced on July 11, 2013.
According to the government’s evidence, on January 7, 2013, Swirling contacted a man he believed to be the father of an under-aged girl on a social networking site. That man turned out to be an undercover officer with the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force. Over the next few days, Swirling engaged in graphic online e-mail and instant message conversations with the undercover officer. During these conversations, Swirling arranged with the undercover officer to meet for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts with the child.
The National Family Planning & Reproductive Health Association strongly supports taxpayer funding for abortion clinics and counts among its membership many Planned Parenthood affiliates.
Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, said that “Nobody should be surprised that people who advocate the murder of children would be involved in the sexual abuse of children.”
Life Dynamics has conducted investigations into the issue of teen pregnancy and found that underage girls, some as young as 10, were being sexually exploited by adult men. According to the most reliable studies, among girls 15 and younger who become pregnant, between 60 and 80 percent of them are impregnated by adult men.
Sexual predators who impregnate underage girls rely on cooperative abortion clinics to cover up their crimes many of which frequently fail to comply with mandatory reporting laws.
Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation have made a conscious decision to conceal the sexual exploitation of children and protect the men who commit these crimes according to an overwhelming body of statistical evidence obtained from government sources, medical journals, independent researchers and the abortion industry itself, showing the rate at which both organizations failed to comply is in excess of 90%.
This is a tragedy of enormous proportions. When young children are sexually abused, they lose their innocence, their childhood, their dignity, and sometimes even their lives.
It really should not come as a surprise that Planned Parenthood refuses to report the sexual abuse of underage girls who are brought to their clinics to “murder” the evidence of a crime. Alisa LaPolt Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified recently said that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor. An agenda, I might add, that both Michelle and Barack support.
If they have no qualms about the murder of an innocent child, whose only crime was to survive an abortion, why should they feel any remorse for supporting the sexual abuse of children?
Thank God the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force caught Mr. Swirling, but how many slip through the cracks?
