The Worker’s World Party

02Think al-Qaeda is the only terrorist organization working to destroy America?   Meet the Worker’s World Party, an organization whose primary goal is to destroy the U.S. to “rid the world of the evils of capitalism,” much as the Islamic jihadists seek to avenge the alleged transgressions of America’s religious infidels.

The Workers World Party (WWP), is a Marxist-Leninist sect that uses the anti-war movement as the vehicle to promote its Communist objects.  They condemn American society, American foreign policy and capitalism in general.

Founded in 1959 by Sam Marcy, the leader of the  1960s demonstrations against America’s involvement in the Vietnam War, WWP openly rooted for a Viet Cong victory and actually coordinated some of their  activities with those of the North Vietnamese Communist forces.   Think shades of Jane Fonda and John Kerry.

The Worker’s World Party, to this day, idolizes the former Soviet dictator and mass murderer Joseph Stalin and regards Fidel Castro as a hero of the common man.  The Venceremos Brigades of the 60s and 70s were actually trained in revolutionary tactics by Castro’s intelligence agency.  During this same era, WWP developed a close ideological bond with Communist North Korea and its then President, Kim II Sung and still today, maintain this bond with the current dictator.  WWP also supported the Soviet invasions of Czechoslovakia and Afghanistan, as well as the regime of Slobodan Milocevic in the former Yugoslavia.

According to the WWP website they are independent Marxists who attempt to understand the problems in a world dominated by Western imperialism, with a goal of solidarity of all the workers and oppressed against this criminal imperialist system.  They have a goal of a society run by the workers, “not just as pawns in a capitalist political game, but as collective owners of the social wealth.”

The Workers’s World Party was also a Cosponsor of the April 25, 2004 “March for Women’s Lives,” a  D.C. rally advocating unrestricted access to taxpayer-funded abortion-on-demand.

As a political party, WWP has run its own candidates for President and Vice President in almost every election since 1980.  These candidates have included Dierdre Griswold, Larry Holmes, Gloria LaRiva, Monica Moorehead, John Parker and Teresa Guiterrez

To achieve its Communist objectives today,  WWP uses a number of front groups, all of which are run by WWP members and spokesmen.  Among the most import of these groups is International ANSWER (Act Now To Stop War and End Racism).  To ANSWER, the U.S. is the world’s foremost terrorist nation and has no right to respond militarily to any act of war committed against it.

International ANSWER was founded on September 14, 2001, three days after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the U.S. Pentagon.  ANSWER held a mass demonstration fifteen days later in D.C. and San Francisco to protest the Bush administration’s impending invasion of Afghanistan whose Taliban regime had aided and abetted al-Qaeda for the 9/11 attacks.

Speakers at ANSWER rallies are generally members of the political far left like prominent members of activists and communist organizations, celebrities, entertainers and politicians, often members of the Democratic Party’s Progressive Caucus, some of which are  members of the Workers World Party, who more than often accuse the U.S. of a broad spectrum of transgressions from imperialism to mistreatment of ‘political prisoners’ (terrorists) to racism.

Well represented in the ANSWER steering committee are Muslim organizations that embrace the anti-American and anti-Israel ideals of the jihadists. These include:

  • Free Palestine Alliance (FPA): Advocating “justice and liberation” for the people of “Palestine,”  who depict Israel as an oppressor.
  • Muslim Students Association (MSA): A key lobbying organization for the Wahhabi Sect (Muslim Brotherhood), with close ties to the extremist Muslim World League
  • Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA): Founded in 1988, this group combines humanitarian aid to the Middle East pro-Palestinian militants and anti-Israeli groups.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself,   you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle”   Sun Tzu, The Art of War, Special Edition.
