Ayo Kimathi, a manager at the Department of Homeland Security has been running a website that spews inflammatory, race-based attacks advocating for the “mass murder of whites” and an ethnic cleansing of “Uncle Tom race traitors.” You can watch his videos at this link.
Kimathi who calls himself “Irritated Genie” on his website, while at his day job and not calling for a race war, is in charge of buying weapons and ammunition for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) department. Talk about a truly frightening combination!
However, Kimathi has followed DHS rules and reportedly was given approval from his supervisors to create the website. But, to be fair to his supervisors: when he requested permission, he misrepresented what his site would be about, calling it WHO instead of its actual name of “War on the Horizon” and saying it was for selling videos of concerts and lectures.
According to his fellow employees at the DHS “Everybody in the office is afraid of him; we are afraid he will come in with a gun and someday go postal.” This is very believable when you consider that the hate speech on his website declares that “in order for Black people to survive in the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites.”
A supervisors at DHS has been quoted as saying “I am astounded he’s employed by the federal government, let alone Homeland Security,” and a spokeswoman for his department put out a statement saying that ICE “does not condone any type of hateful rhetoric or advocacy of violence of any kind against anyone.” However, it is not known if any action will be taken against Kimathi.
The lack of serious disciplinary action leads many to question the Administration’s stance on race relations in this country when it appears to tacitly accept these kinds of opinions.
