The U.N. Apocalyptic Fairy Tale

The U.N. has just released the latest  32 page installment of their never ending apocalyptic fairy tale, threatening all mankind with imminent destruction if we don’t cave to their demands.   Raising this year’s rhetoric they’re predicting  crop failures, increased flooding, fires, civil wars, heat waves, boils, pestilence and plagues, a sort of a Socialist Book of Revelation.

By now, most sane people have figured out that it is just that – a fairy tale.  The United Nations, Obama, and the other far-left environuts care as much about humanity as Hamas cares about Israel.   Their goal is, has been, and will always be about control, and power.

Several UN conferences set in motion this hoax based on the assertion that mankind was directly responsible for causing a dramatic surge in warming,  a lie based on fake science and dreams of controlling the world’s resources.   And they continue to spread this lie dependent upon the public’s lack of understanding  of the complexity of climate science,  and a few crooked scientists who’d sell their mother for a dime.

Of course they have a solution to end this nonexistent global warming – higher taxes, increased regulations,  and less freedom,  a return to the dark ages  solution that will forever change the standard of living of most every individual in the developed world.

Dr. Tim Ball, a climatologist for over forty years,  in his new book, “The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science” says there is no scientific support for the U.N. theory of global warming.   There are only those environuts with their hands out.

Dr. Patrick Moore, cofounder of Greenpeace who left the organization in 1986 after it abandoned objective science in favor of money said that “There is no proof that human emissions of C02 is the dominant cause of the minor warming over the past 100 years.”  Dr. Fritz Vahrenholt, a Socialist and father of Germany’s environmental movement is a strong critic of the U.N. Climate doctrine.  As a former IPCC reviewer for renewable energy projects, he believes the sun plays a far greater role than the environmental movement is willing to admit.

Dr. James Lovelock who predicted in 2006 that before the century was over billions would die recently admitted to MSNBC that “we don’t know what the climate is doing.  The climate is doing its usual tricks, there’s nothing much happening. . .the temperature has stayed almost constant.”  Nobel Laureate Physicist Dr. Ivar Giaever refers to global warming as a “pseudoscience” that “begins with an emotionally appealing hypothesis and then only looks for items which appear to support it,” while ignoring ample contrary evidence.

Preaching this apocalyptic fairy tale has become a lucrative endeavor, with immense financial gain to climate-related tax exempt 501(c)(3) organizations such as the Sierra Club, the World Wildlife Fund, the U.N. Foundation, the Nature Conservancy, Greenpeace, Defenders of Wildlife, the US Climate Action Network, Climate Solutions, Climate Central, etc.  You can see a list and the amount of money these organizations received in 2010 at this link.

Obama is needlessly squandering America’s tax dollars and our children’s future on a lie.  The real danger to mankind is that for plant life,  the current amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is near starvation levels.

Global warming is an irrational belief, a cult that has failed to progress much beyond the concept of original sin, apocalyptic visions, sumptuary laws, and the selling of indulgences; a cult that doesn’t extend to building aged-care homes, hospitals, or anything much for the common good.  Instead it degrades the fabric of society by misdirecting human efforts.   And until this cult is vanquished and the global warming myth is exploded, the security of the U.S. and thus of the world, is at risk.

“When people stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing – they believe in anything.”  G.K. Chesterton
