The right side or correct side of abortion is the side of life. There is no other way around it, either life is chosen or death by murder for the unborn child. The murder of an unborn child is nothing more than the sacrifice of a baby at the altar of self-interest. Which is the practice which God spoke against in Leviticus 20: 2-4.[1] In those verses God declares that those that sacrifice the child, defile God’s sanctuary and profane His Holy Name. And as well, that the people of the land shall be cut off. If it is allowed, God will set His face against those people.
Abortion is not only a sin with regards to the Biblical perspective, but is a moral outrage, and makes no sense whatsoever. While strides have been made in the protection of pets being left unattended in cars and trucks, it is still legal to abort an unborn child. And while the numbers of partial-birth and late-term abortions reportedly have gone down, they can still be performed if the mother’s health is at risk.[2] While it is illegal to produce a Crush video (a film depicting an animal being crushed),[3] for that matter to harm an animal, it is still legal to abort an unborn child. Laws protecting endangered species abound, but the most endangered species is each child aborted.
Each of us is an individual, our finger prints are different than any other, our iris is single, and our DNA stands us apart from one another. When a person dies, they are, as far as this human existence, are extinct. So daily, while we continue to take great pains to protect endangered species in the animal kingdom, we fail to protect, the most helpless and truly the most unique of God’s creation. We are His handiwork, we are fearfully made and the wondrous creation of our Father in Heaven, Jehovah God.[4]
Can we, as a society, no longer see how sick and perverted this is? That an animal’s life is more important than that of a child in a mother’s womb. And many of the people who champion the rights of animals are proudly for the abortion of a child, even late-term and partial-birth abortion. This speaks to the shame of our country, where sensible, logical judgement has been left off for convenience for the woman’s health or lifestyle; presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said as much with regards to late term abortions, in a presidential debate of 2016.[5] Clinton also added in May of 2017, that “abortion is a health and core economic issue… an issue of morality… I wish there were common ground, but I know for sure it is higher ground.”[6]
The more the heathen speak the more they distance themselves not only from Jehovah God and Christ Jesus the Messiah, but from rational human reasoning. It seems insanity rules’ this ungodly generation, and in their search to include all of unrighteousness under a big tent, they have hardened their hearts, and are impenitent, hoarding up the impending wrath of God, as if it were some blessing expected.[7] These pontificating of compassion upon the poor and homeless they have It is as though the Marquis de Sade and myriad inmates of Charenton Asylum command seats in our highest courts and elected offices, and are forming our national policy on fetal healthcare, and hold sway a majority of minds across the country regarding the viability of the unborn.
For many, even a growing number of conservatives, abortion is given allowance for rape, incest or in circumstances where the mother’s life is in danger. But, by removing the unborn child from those situations, and placing that child in a different environment, then the so-called mercy procedure for the mother in the above examples, becomes nothing more than murder. If we contemplated the death of a child of five years old, to save the life of the mother, who had been raped or who was in danger of dying, we would quickly see it for what it is: a substitutionary death of child for the health, comfort convenience or consolation of the mother. Which brings us back to sacrifice. But, instead of this sacrifice being laid at the altar of Baal, it is at the altar SELF; self-pity, self-concern, selfishness.
We hear the same filthy life-ending language repeated daily by those who do not wish to take responsibility, who spew their vile hateful doctrine about unborn children, while protesting capital punishment. Less than 1,500 inmates have been executed in the United States since 1976,[8] Planned Parenthood (this does not include any other practitioners) performed 328, 348 abortions in 2015-2016, a staggering 899 unborn babies killed every day, this according to their annual report.[9] Yet, protect the murderous criminals, and kill the babies is their cry!
Hundreds of thousands of the unborn are killed each year, the innocent,[10] taken from us, future doctors, scientists, presidents, civic leaders, ministers of the Gospel,[11] thousands are murdered each day. A blight upon this nation it is, the stealing of such promise,[12] wasted at the altar of SELF.
We cannot be afraid to speak the truth, worrying that we will upset people, concerned that we will hurt feelings. Remember, if stand silent, God will set His face against us all.[13]
