A New World Order – China and the Vatican

Global Utopia

Truth is stranger than fiction. We have been told that Communism died when the last brick was pulled down from the Berlin Wall; but what if the chameleon was just changing colors, developing a new cloak, and deceiving its intended victims of its sinister plans for complete world domination? When we study the Old and New Testament prophecies regarding the development of the world just before the Second Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ, we find a clearly laid out description of a One World Government which has a universal totalitarian control of all the world.

It’s described in Revelation 13 as having such unparalleled economic control that no one can buy or sell without the “Mark of the Beast”. Revelation also details that it will not only encompass the commercial realm but establish a one world religion as well.

For years, many have wondered how in the world a system would develop that encompasses all aspects of life on earth, and how in the world would disparate powers on earth could ever coalesce into the sort of totalitarian unity described? Now there are many questions still unanswered, but some very clear developments are revealing the shape of what President HW Bush infamously called “The New World Order.”

In the first week of February this year, “the Vatican announced that Pope Francis plans to replace two Chinese bishops loyal to Rome with seven excommunicated men chosen by Beijing [ie. the Communist Chinese government]. Two of those seven men are alleged to have girlfriends and fathered children. Most importantly, all seven men put their loyalty to China’s communist government before their faith in God.

China has long demanded that the Vatican accept only Chinese government-appointed bishops and give them full authority to rule a Chinese diocese. But Francis’s predecessors in the Catholic Church have long believed, as Pope Benedict XVI said, ‘the authority of the Pope to appoint bishops is given to the church by its founder Jesus Christ. It is not the property of the Pope, neither can the Pope give it to others.’

Yet in Pope Francis the atheist Chinese Communist government found a willing partner eager to give in to their demands. Pope Francis seems to have no problem subordinating his authority to a repressive communist government.”

China’s President Xi Jinping is no friend to religious freedom. Since he came into power, he made it clear that religious groups, “must adhere to the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and support the socialist system and socialism with Chinese characteristics.” In other words, the Chinese government would tolerate any religion only if it puts the Chinese government before God… He demanded that they [CPCA members] act as “unyielding Marxist atheists, consolidate their faith, and bear in mind the Party’s tenets.”

To show that he meant what he said, “Chinese authorities tore down many churches in China in 2015 and arrested lawyers and activists who defended some of the underground churches. As recently as January 2018, Chinese People’s Armed Police used excavators and dynamite to destroy the Golden Lampstand Church in the city of Linfen, Shanxi province.” (thefederalist.com)

If that were not enough, consider the astonishing statement coming out of the Vatican. “The chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences has heaped high and unexpected praise on China, insisting that the atheistic communist regime has created the best model for living out Catholic social teaching today.

After visiting Beijing for the first time some months ago, Argentinean Bishop Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo reportedly returned to the Vatican full of enthusiasm for the Asian country, and this week he told a journalist that “at this moment, the Chinese are the ones implementing Catholic social teaching best.”

The Chinese “look for the common good and subordinate other things to the general welfare,” Bishop Sánchez insisted in a Spanish-language interview with the Vatican Insider…

With forced abortions, slave labor, the rampant persecution of Christians, severely limited freedoms, and a church demolition campaign under China’s one-party system, it is hard to imagine how anyone—let alone a high ranking Catholic prelate—could put forward China as an example of Catholic social teaching done right.” (Rumormillnews.com)

One commentator stated “Growing evidence signals that the Vatican, the Chinese Communist Party, the British Empire, and the Pentagon are negotiating the creation of a world government.” (Benjaminfulfor.net)

Could the Satanic kingdom of the Antichrist be emerging in our day? While we cannot be absolutely certain, one thing we clearly see in the Word of God is Satan will make war upon the true saints of the Most High God. The kingdom of the Antichrist, The New World Order, will persecute true Christians at an appalling level on an unprecedented scale. That fact alone will cause many to hesitate in following Christ and as Paul points out in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 resulting in a great falling away from the Christian faith.

How shall we prepare for potential persecution, and how can we be ready if The New World Order is upon us? We need to prepare because the reality Scripture teaches us is that we ought always to be ready to face persecution. This is not unlike what Israel under the leadership of Joshua faced. As soon as they crossed over Jordan they would be on the battlefield; their enemies were powerful and numerous, the obstacles were substantial, what they needed now more than anything else was confidence in the Lord God who commanded them to cross over.
