Evil basically toils under the cover of darkness but every once in a while, they rear their ugly head for the world to see. Such is the case of those working behind the scenes to destroy our country.
America is imploding. Our once strong moral and social fabric is threadbare. We are in the throes of death because we have allowed evil to thrive in every facet of government, civil and social institutions. The intentional destruction of our education system has resulted in a population of extremely ignorant people who advocate for their own demise. Freedom is on life-support because most Americans are fixated on themselves, their pleasures, prosperity and desires.
To paraphrase Dr. Philip Paschal, “tragedy seems to plague our world. Violence and chaos are the order of the day. Unbridled hatred roams like a mad dog that needs to be put to sleep. When I see all of these insufferable events, I cry like Habakkuk: Lord, How Long?”
There should be a nagging question on the minds of every American who loves the freedoms we enjoy in this country. Will America Recover? Will we survive this tsunami of evil? Is there any political solution to the murderous death-grip the wicked have on this country?
Rob Pue, in his article Babylon the Great Is Fallen, warns that our nation’s gates have already fallen. Our enemies are already here, and they’re ravaging our land like locusts. The wicked, who rule over us, have opened the flood gates and welcomed our enemies. Ignorant of history and Biblically-illiterate, the American populace has chosen to believe the lies; indeed, God Himself has sent them strong delusion. Thinking themselves wise, they’ve become fools, given over to depraved minds.
It is as Micah wrote in 7:1-4, “There is none upright among men; they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother….That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire….The best of them is a brier; they most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge; the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.”
From a Christian perspective, the answer to that “nagging” question of whether or not America will recover is NO. End time prophesy is being fulfilled daily. The day of salvation draws near.
We know that all of the troubles we must endure are part of the Lord’s perfect plan for us, a plan that brings all of the glory to God. We know how all of this will end, when we will see Christ face to face and “he will wipe away every tear from [our] eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
